The XTP CP 4i HDMI is an XTP input board capable of accepting signals from up to four local HDMI sources. It also features four balanced/unbalanced stereo audio inputs with audio breakaway capability for switching and distribution flexibility. Analog audio signals are digitized to two-channel PCM digital audio for separate audio routing within the system. To simplify integration, stereo audio can also be embedded into the signal stream for distribution alongside video and control signals. Incoming signals can be switched to an XTP® output board for local or remote signal distribution.

- Automatic cable equalization â Actively conditions incoming signals to compensate for loss when using long cables, low quality cables, or source devices with poor HDMI signal output.
- Automatic output reclocking â Reshapes and restores timing of digital video signals at each output, eliminating high frequency jitter to ensure reliable transmission over long cables.
- Multi-channel audio downmixing â The XTP CP 4i HDMI DMA input board provides enhanced audio capabilities with multi-channel to twoâchannel audio downmixing for separate audio routing.
- Audio breakaway enables independent audio and video switching â Provides the capability to break away an audio signal from its corresponding video signal.
- Supported HDMI specification features include data rates up to 6.75 Gbps, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, and HD lossless audio formats
- User-selectable HDCP authorization â Allows individual inputs to appear HDCP compliant or nonâHDCP compliant to the connected source, which is beneficial if the source automatically encrypts all content when connected to an HDCP-compliant device. Protected material is not passed in nonâHDCP mode.

- Comprehensive EDID management â Use XTP System Configuration Software to access EDID Minder for setting video input EDID, capturing EDID from connected displays, or uploading custom EDID files. Freely downloadable EDID Manager 2.0 software is available for advanced EDID editing and creating custom EDID files.

- HDCP Visual Confirmation â When HDCPâencrypted content is transmitted to a nonâHDCP compliant display, a fullâscreen green signal is sent to the display for immediate visual confirmation that protected content cannot be viewed on that display.
- Video muting control â Video can be muted, allowing the user to control content presentation.
- Local analog stereo audio inputs and outputs â The four balanced/unbalanced analog audio inputs are digitized to two-channel PCM digital audio for separate audio routing within the system.
- Audio input gain and attenuation â Allows the level of gain or attenuation to be set for each analog audio input, eliminating noticeable volume differences when switching between sources.
- Audio output volume adjustment â Eliminates the need for preamplifiers in many AV systems.
- HDMI to DVI Interface Format Correction â Automatically reformats HDMI source signals for output to a connected DVI display.
