Equipment Policy

Vast Trades is a trade name of OMWAH, INC, a Washington State registered business (UBI 603-128-871, Reseller Permit A36450926), 600 S 74th Place Unit 103, Ridgefield, WA 98642. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and covers all lab, clinic, and professional equipment we sell.

1. Condition. Most equipment we sell is pre-owned, surplus, demo, or open-box and is sold AS-IS unless the listing says otherwise. Each listing describes the condition we observed and shows photos of the actual item. We do not claim an item meets original manufacturer specifications unless the listing says so in writing.

2. Reseller, not manufacturer. Vast Trades is a reseller. We do not manufacture, remanufacture, refurbish, or service the equipment we sell, and we do not change its performance or safety specifications.

3. Buyer's responsibility. We make no claim that any item is cleared, approved, listed, or registered with any government agency. Before use, the buyer is responsible for: (a) confirming the item's regulatory status for their intended use; (b) following all laws and regulations that apply to buying, owning, and using it; (c) holding any license, certification, or permit the item requires; and (d) having the item inspected, calibrated, cleaned, and certified by a qualified technician before putting it into service.

4. Restricted items. Some items may only be sold to, or used by, licensed professionals or qualified facilities. By ordering such an item, you confirm you are authorized to buy it. We may ask for proof and may cancel orders that cannot be verified.

5. Not for personal or home use. Equipment is sold for professional, business, research, parts, or educational use.

6. Expired and single-use items. Items past a printed expiration date are sold as expired and cannot be returned. Single-use items are sold for non-patient use such as training, display, or parts unless the buyer is authorized otherwise.

7. Limitation of liability. To the extent allowed by law, Vast Trades is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of any item. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.
