Fail-Safe Operation
This is a fail-safe (NC) lock: the bolt locks while power is applied and releases when power is removed. If power is lost, the door unlocks. Use a fail-secure lock instead if the door must stay locked during a power outage.
The selector switch on the label sets the relock delay to 0, 3 or 6 seconds, and the lamp shows lock status.
